Nutrition coaching at North End Fitness & Training
A practical, personalized approach to better nutrition
Between social media, diet trends, and conflicting information, it can be difficult to know what to eat, how much to eat, or what actually matters for your goals. Our nutrition coaching gives you the guidance and support to cut through the noise and focus on what works for you.
Nutrition guidance that fits your life
Your nutrition should work with your schedule, preferences, routines, and goals. Rather than following a rigid plan that may be difficult to maintain, you'll work with your coach to identify realistic strategies that fit into your everyday life.
Learn how to fuel your body
Nutrition coaching can help you better understand how food supports your energy, training, recovery, and overall well-being. You'll learn practical strategies you can use long after your coaching sessions end.
Build sustainable habits
Lasting change doesn't come from being perfect. It comes from building habits you can consistently return to. We'll focus on realistic changes that can become part of your routine over time.
Led by a credentialed nutrition coach
Our nutrition coaching is led by Caitlin MacShane, a Nutrition Counselor with a Master of Science in Nutrition from Hunter College. Caitlin brings a genuine passion for the connection between food, health, and science to every session, and works one-on-one with each client to build a plan around their individual needs.
What nutrition coaching can help with
Nutrition plays a role in how you feel, perform, and recover every day. Your coaching may focus on areas such as:
Building balanced meals
Learn practical ways to build meals and snacks that support your energy and keep you feeling satisfied throughout the day.
Meal planning & preparation
Develop realistic strategies for planning meals, grocery shopping, and preparing food without spending your entire week in the kitchen.
Nutrition for training
Learn how to better fuel your workouts and support your body's needs before and after exercise.
Consistency & accountability
Work with a coach who can help you identify what's getting in the way of your goals, stay accountable, and adjust your approach as your needs change.
Understanding nutrition
Build your knowledge and confidence so you can make informed decisions without relying on the latest diet trend or nutrition rule.
Creating sustainable habits
Focus on realistic changes that fit your lifestyle and can be maintained over the long term—not short-term solutions that leave you starting over again and again.
