More than a gym. Part of
the community we call home.
North End Fitness & Training has been proud to be part of the New Rochelle community for more than a decade. As a locally owned business, we believe being part of this community means more than opening our doors each day. It means showing up, getting involved, and helping create healthier, stronger communities wherever we can.
From schools and youth sports to local events, nonprofits, and community organizations, we're proud to support the people and places that make New Rochelle and the surrounding Westchester communities such a special place to live, work, and grow.
Bringing fitness to schools and local youth programs
We believe kids should have opportunities to move, play, and build confidence both inside and outside the gym.
Our team runs after-school fitness programs at local elementary schools, including Ward Elementary and Davis Elementary, and provides year-round physical education coaches for Westchester Torah Academy.
Coach Phil also co-founded LIFTing Youth, a nonprofit focused on helping young people build confidence, healthy habits, and a positive relationship with fitness through accessible youth programming. The organization reflects our broader belief that every child should have opportunities to move, grow, and discover the benefits of an active lifestyle.
We've also partnered with local organizations and youth programs to bring fitness opportunities directly to children and families. From after-school programming with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club to hosting team-building workouts for Girl Scouts, we look for ways to make fitness engaging, approachable, and accessible to young people in the communities we serve.
We've also brought obstacle courses and fitness challenges to school community events, including Webster's Fall Festival and Ward's Trunk or Treat, giving kids a fun way to get active and try something new.
Bringing fitness to local athletes
North End Fitness & Training provides strength and conditioning for both high-performance and recreational athletes at the New Rochelle location of Tennis Innovators Academy. Our coaches help athletes build strength, power, mobility, endurance, and movement skills that support performance and longevity, both on and off the court.
We're proud to have supported athletes and athletic programs throughout New Rochelle and the surrounding communities, including New Rochelle High School Baseball, Football, Wrestling, and Lacrosse, as well as New Rochelle Little League and Youth Baseball of New Rochelle. Our work with local sports organizations takes many forms, from supporting community events to providing opportunities for athletes to develop the strength and skills they need to perform at their best.
For example, we've sponsored Eric Tutera Night and hosted an obstacle course at NRLax's Family Field Day, with strength and conditioning opportunities for the program coming in Fall 2026. We've also hosted winter strength and conditioning for Premiere Athletes’ flag football team, helping young athletes build a strong foundation for their sport.
Whether an athlete is preparing for competition, developing foundational skills, or simply looking to become stronger and more capable, we believe quality training can help young people reach their potential both in their sport and beyond.
Bringing fitness to local community organizations
Our team has hosted obstacle courses and fitness challenges at New Rochelle's annual Street Fair and participated in the New Rochelle Police Department's National Night Out, giving families and community members a fun, approachable way to get active together.
We also bring fitness to the next generation through Coach Phil's work as Director of CrossFit at New Rochelle's Beth El Day Camp. Since 2022, he and the team have helped campers discover the joy of movement and fitness in a fun, supportive environment.
Whether we're at a neighborhood event, a summer camp, or a community gathering, we're always looking for ways to make movement accessible, approachable, and fun.
Proud to be part of the New Rochelle community
We're proud to be members of the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and to build lasting relationships with the people and organizations that make this community special. We've worked alongside local businesses, organizations, and families throughout the community and are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the place we call home.
For us, being a good community partner means more than simply being here. It's about investing our time, energy, and expertise in New Rochelle and the surrounding communities and finding ways to contribute to a stronger, healthier place to live, work, and grow.
We're also proud to be recognized by local parenting communities as a trusted resource for family health and wellness. North End Fitness & Training was featured in the 2026 Health & Wellness Guide from Westchester parenting platforms including Rye & Rye Brook Moms, Scarsdale Mom, and Sound Shore Moms. We're grateful to be included alongside other local businesses helping families build healthier, more active lifestyles.
