Kids & pre-teens birthday parties in New Rochelle
Active, imaginative birthday parties designed around your child's favorite things.
At North End Fitness & Training, we believe birthdays should be more than just cake and candles. Our kids and pre-teen birthday parties combine movement, teamwork, creativity, and fun to create a celebration your child and their friends will remember.
Every party is led by a coach and customized around your child's favorite themes, characters, hobbies, and interests. Whether they're becoming a superhero, exploring the jungle, are off on a magical adventure, competing in team challenges, or simply looking for an active way to celebrate with friends, we'll create an experience built around them.
With birthday parties available for ages 4-14 and groups of up to 20 kids, our coaches handle the planning, activities, and cleanup so families can focus on celebrating.
Kids & pre-teen parties at North End Fitness & Training
A birthday experience built around your child
No two kids are the same, so no two parties should be the same. Our coaches work with families to create a personalized celebration based on the birthday child's age, interests, and theme.
Coach-led activities from start to finish
Your party is led by North End Fitness & Training owner Coach Phil, who personally plans and guides the entire experience. Families provide input about the birthday child's interests, favorite characters, and ideas, and he turn those ideas into an active adventure.
Designed for ages 4-14
Our coaches adjust activities, challenges, and games based on the age, abilities, and interests of the group. Younger kids may enjoy imaginative adventures, movement games, and obstacle courses, while older kids and teens can take on more competitive challenges, athletic activities, and team-based competitions.
A space built for fun, movement, and adventure
Our lower-level training space at North End Fitness & Training gives kids and pre-teens room to move, explore, and take on new challenges. Our space includes everything needed for active adventures:
Climbing & Ninja Challenges (monkey bars, rings, cargo net, climbing wall, peg boards, ninja steps)
Balance & Obstacle Challenges (stepping stones, balance beams, agility ladders, hurdles, cones, rings, and course equipment used for races, challenges, and adventure-style activities)
Team Games & Competitions (dodgeballs, throwing targets, relay race equipment, and group games that encourage teamwork, friendly competition, and active play)
Active Play Equipment (jump ropes, agility equipment, and tools used for speed, coordination, and skill-building activities)
Strength & Athletic Challenges (sled pushes, medicine balls, resistance bands, light weights, battle ropes, and fitness challenges designed to test strength, endurance, and teamwork)
Themed Adventures & Activities (parachutes, specialty equipment, customized games like fitness jenga or workout cards, and activities designed around your child’s interests, favorite characters, and party theme)
Sample Party Experiences for Kids
Every birthday party at North End Fitness & Training is customized around your child. Our coaches take your ideas, interests, favorite characters, and themes, then build an active experience around them.
Here are a few examples of parties we’ve created:
Spider-Man’s Superhero School (5 years old)
Kids became Spider-Man trainees through team-building games, strength and speed challenges, and a superhero mission to defeat Green Goblin.
The adventure included relay races, mini-games, dodgeball challenges, a parachute celebration, and a dance party featuring the birthday girl's favorite songs. (You’re welcome to provide your own playlist)
Dora the Explorer Adventure (4 years old)
Kids followed Map’s directions and completed challenges along the way, including climbing over hills (risers), moving through the jungle (rings), navigating a winding path (cone slalom), and crossing a balance beam bridge. The adventure ended with a piñata celebration.
Pokémon Training Academy (6 years old)
Guests became Pokémon trainers for the day, starting by creating their own custom trainer badges with printed pictures, lanyards, and a crafting station. They then took on a series of Pokémon-inspired challenges, including searching for hidden Pokémon (scavenger hunt), catching Pokémon (dodgeball), battling other trainers (relay races and competitions), and working together to defeat Team Rocket.
No matter their age or experience level, we'll help your child find a place to move, grow, and feel good about what they can do.
We also create customized experiences for pre-teens that are more challenging, competitive, and team-focused.
Some pre-teen party ideas include:
Survivor Challenge
Teams compete through a series of physical and mental challenges inspired by Survivor-style competitions. Activities can include obstacle challenges, team strategy games, endurance challenges, and final team competitions.
Ninja Warrior Challenge
A high-energy party featuring obstacle courses, climbing challenges, balance tests, and timed competitions inspired by ninja-style training.
Team Tournament
Teams compete across multiple events including dodgeball, relay races, strength challenges, agility competitions, and other games designed for friendly competition.
Fitness Challenge
A fun introduction to fitness through team-based challenges, strength competitions, conditioning games, and partner activities.
Custom Theme
Have another idea? Our coaches can work with your family to create a party experience around your teen’s interests, hobbies, or favorite activities.

What Should We Expect at Our Birthday Party at North End Fitness & Training?
Planning a birthday party should be exciting and fun, not stressful! That’s why Coach Phil and team handle the activities and cleanup so you can focus on celebrating with your child and their friends. Here’s what the process looks like:
PLAN THE PARTY WITH YOUR COACH
Before the party, we'll learn about your child's age, interests, favorite characters, and/or theme, as well as any limitations, accessibility callouts, or injuries we may need to be aware of. Coach Phil will use your input to create a personalized experience that fits the group and vibe of the party.
ARRIVE EARLY TO SET UP
Families can arrive up to 30 minutes before the scheduled party start time to set up decorations, including balloons and wall decorations, to personalize the celebration.
This setup time is separate from your 60- or 90-minute party, and our team is there to assist or take over, based on your preference.
GET MOVING
Once the party begins, Coach Phil will lead the group through the planned activities. Kids and pre-teens may take on obstacle courses, team challenges, themed games, competitions, and other activities designed around the initial discussion we had with the parent.
Activities are adjusted based on the age and interests of the group, so a 4-year-old's adventure will look different from a teen's team tournament or athletic challenge.
AFTER THE ACTIVITIES
For 90-minute parties, the final 30 minutes are reserved for pizza, cake, and celebration.
The 60-minute party is activity-only and does not include time for food or cake at the facility.
LEAVE THE CLEANUP TO US
When the party is over, our team handles cleanup. We’ll pack your gifts into a large bag, help pack up any extra food or cake you may have, and take care of the garbage, so you can enjoy the rest of your day.
