Kids & teens fitness & training in New Rochelle
Building strength, confidence, and healthy habits from an early age.
At North End Fitness & Training, we believe that building a positive relationship with movement starts early. We work with kids and teens through group fitness classes and personal training, helping each child build strength, coordination, confidence, and healthy habits in a supportive environment.
No prior fitness experience is required. Our coaches meet kids where they are and help them build skills, confidence, and comfort at their own pace.
Our youth strength training programs help kids and teens develop foundational movement skills, become stronger and more capable, and build habits that support them in sports and everyday life. Whether your child is just getting started with fitness, loves being active, wants to become stronger and more confident, is preparing for a sport, or would benefit from individualized coaching, we’ll help you find the right fit.
With classes for Kids (ages 7-11), Pre-teens (ages 12-14), and Teens (ages 14-17), as well as personal training for kids and teens, we meet young people where they are and provide the right level of challenge, coaching, and support.
Kids & teens fitness at North End Fitness & Training
A positive place to build confidence
Our coaches create an encouraging environment where kids and teens can try new things, learn new skills, and feel proud of what they can do. We focus on effort, progress, and personal growth, helping each young person build confidence through movement and fitness.
Group class or 1:1 coaching
Every child learns differently. Some thrive in a group setting, while others benefit from individualized coaching. Whether your child joins a class or works one-on-one with a coach, they'll receive age-appropriate instruction, encouragement, and training designed around where they are today.
Training that grows with them
Kids and teens are constantly growing and changing, and their training should too. Whether they’re participating in a group class or working 1:1 with a coach, their training is adapted to their age, abilities, developmental needs, and goals.
We help kids build foundational movement skills, while teens develop strength, independence, and confidence in their ability to move well.
Fitness that’s fun to come back to
We want young people to see fitness as something they enjoy and feel confident doing. Through engaging workouts, teamwork, and supportive coaching, we help kids and teens stay active, build healthy habits, and develop a positive relationship with movement.
Does your child play a sport?
If your child wants to become stronger, faster, more coordinated, or better prepared for their sport, we offer sports performance training and athletic development designed around their specific goals and needs.
Whether they’re preparing for school sports, club teams, tournaments, or year-round competition, we’ll help them build the strength, speed, endurance, mobility, and movement skills that transfer to performance.
Athletic training can be incorporated through personal training or customized programming based on your child’s sport, experience level, and goals.
For tennis players, we also provide tennis-specific fitness and training at Tennis Innovators Academy in New Rochelle.

What Should My Child Expect on Their First Visit?
Starting something new can feel exciting, and sometimes a little intimidating. Whether your child is joining a class, meeting with a coach, or stepping into our facility for the first time, our goal is to make their first day feel welcoming, comfortable, and fun.
To help you and your child know what to expect, we've created a simple guide to their first day.
A WARM WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION
When your child arrives, our coaches will introduce themselves, get to know them, and help them feel comfortable in the space. If it’d help, we’re happy to take time to show you and them around, explain what they can expect, and answer any questions before getting started.
There’s no pressure to know exactly what to do or jump right in. Our coaches will meet your child where they are and help them feel confident from the moment they walk through the door.
GETTING COMFORTABLE AND MOVING
Depending on the program, your child may participate in age-appropriate activities, exercises, games, or skill-building designed to help them learn, grow, and have fun.
Younger kids may focus on movement through play and creative activities, while older kids and teens may begin exploring more structured training, athletic development, and skill progression.
A CHANCE TO FIND THEIR PACE
Every child is different, and we want each child to feel comfortable being themselves. Your child will be encouraged to participate at a level that feels right for them, with coaches providing guidance, encouragement, and support along the way.
Whether they are trying something new, building confidence, or ready for a challenge, we'll help them feel successful from day one.
A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE
Our goal is for your child to leave their first day feeling proud of what they accomplished and excited to come back. We want them to see fitness as something they can enjoy, feel confident doing, and continue building into a healthy lifestyle as they grow.
